Hey
Family, how are things going in St. George? I hope things are going great with
all of your busy schedules. I`m doing great here in Uruguay. We just had
the announcement that we are going to have an Apostle come here to Uruguay; The
Apostle is going to be Elder Dallin H. Oaks. But we are going to have a
mission conference with him. Pretty Crazy. Everyone’s really excited. It’ll be
in October right after General Conference. Things are good here in our Area. We
were going to have a Baptism this last Friday with Pablo. but one of his
Daughters was really sick vomiting and everything, so he didn’t want to leave
here. We rescheduled his baptism for the next Sunday. Hopefully everything
works out. He felt really bad about missing his baptism. He said next week he
will go si or si. He really wants this change in his life. He knows the Church
is true and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet because he felt the spirit testify
to him of these things. It’s these feelings that we have to pay attention to. It’s
through these feelings that we can know what God wants us to know. We had
Changes this week, and things are going to stay the same. Same companion, same
area. I’m excited to still be here. This has been my favorite area so far. If
we could just have this baptism it would be great. If he gets baptized he’ll
receive the priesthood the following week and can baptize one of his Daughters.
I think that would be amazing experience for him. The Branch is doing good,
more people are starting to come again. We had more than 40 this week. Maybe
its just because its getting warmer. That’s the main excuse people give us for
not coming to church. Uruguayan excuses are ridiculous. I hope you are all
doing well, I pray for each of you and how I can be a better member of this
family. I wish all of you the best of luck with Volleyball Cheer, The Romney Campaign,
School, and Life in general. Love you all, Elder Webster
